Hi, Johannes for this scenario you will need your service manual that has all fastener torque specs and a wiring diagram on the back pages, parts fiche, and owners manual if you can't find the best tool you ever bought for your Honda, despair not, for a mere zero $0 you can download another one. Air

Hi, Suha the vast majority of service, parts fiche, and owners manuals on the internet are 'FREE' to download and all service manuals contain wiring diagrams in the back pages. The rest usually charge a modest fee around $10 to $15 and there is a handful of obscure, rare, obsolete, and very old models that are no longer or never were available, for these rare occasions I shall look on eBay and find the cheapest one available. Most of the manuals will cover your exact make, model, and year otherwise one will be provided that comes as close as possible to your bike and will have most of the same info that an exact manual would have. If there is no $ sign after the manual link it is free to download for viewing or printing. To download your manual please click on the blue links below. Hi, Anonymous the vast majority of service, parts fiche, and owners manuals on the internet are 'FREE' to download and all service manuals contain wiring diagrams in the back pages. The rest usually charge a modest fee of $15 and there is a handful of obscure, rare, obsolete, and very old models that are no longer or never were available and some were never printed in English.

The Indian and Philippine markets are usually in E-book format only, for these rare occasions I shall look on eBay and find the cheapest one available. Anything anyone knows is helpfull if anyone has had this problem and knows how its fixed would be brilliant If anyone has a manual or diagram if you could email it to me it would be brilliant! Here's my email address: Cheers You don't need a workshop manual to diagnose that. That is like 90% probably a dead battery. How and when exactly did you check the battery was ok? The only other likely issues are sticking starter solenoid or sticking starter motor. Due to how notorious the VFR is for weak electrical system and the fact you were riding it recently I suspect battey.

Hi neosaphist thanks for getting back to me. I charged the battery but its still not firing up, I thought it could be the Solonoid so iv ordered a new one It's the Solonoid that keeps clicking when I press the button The battery needs a top up aswell but its got enough charge to fire up so I thought it must be somewhere else Do you think if the Solonoid doesn't do it ill be looking for a new starter motor and battery then? Forgot to say it was a multimeter that I used to check battery and was within about an hour or two of it not starting to battery getting checked Cheers.

Forgot to say it was a multimeter that I used to check battery and was within about an hour or two of it not starting to battery getting checked Cheers Do you have a multimeter to check the battery? Most often the regulator will fail and kill the battery. Even if you charge the battery it might not start the bike. You need to check voltages at certatin points.

As above and in my original post, its most likely dead battery. What is happening? Is it clicking straight away after charging the battery? I have a multi meter yeah and have charged battery but its just clicking at the Solonoid even when battery charged it just won't fire up the Solonoid seems so be getting power coming into it but don't think it can pass it if you get me Iv ordered another Solonoid hoping its just that which has got something failing in it as it could be the original from manufacturing of bike What should the battery read to be enough to fire up just so I can check if it is that? But it was reading 12.4 before charge then 14 after charge Thanks.
